Winter Break

After four months of football, football, and more football,

a semester full of dang hard classes + a week of dang hard finals,

working almost every single day,

winter break was exactly what we needed!

Goodbye Cedar City, see you in three weeks!

Those three weeks were like heaven..

Filled by eating at our favorite restaurants, tons and tons of movies, lots of lunch dates, game nights, family parties, catching up with friends, progressive dinners, playing in the snow, late nights, and best of all FAMILY TIME.

One of the highlights of the break was seeing my cute cousin come home from her mission.

I will miss reading her emails & seeing her unbelievable pictures of Scotland
but I am so happy she is home!

One night we had a hot chocolate and cookie party with Amm's side.

It was the cutest!

All kinds of hot chocolate and the best cookies to top it off.

I think it should be a yearly tradtion.

My little brother turned 18!

For his birthday we drove up to midway and enjoyed the cutest sleigh ride through the snow!

My darling Mom!

Thank goodness I had my personal heater, Aka: my hubby

My New Years Kiss every year!

It's never easy leaving the family to come back to school and work, but it just makes both Ammon and me appreciate the time we do have with them even more!

Now it's just me and Amm.. Good thing he makes me happiest :)
(Just look at him in the picture above.. how could that not make you happy?!

Such a goof!

Christmas 2014

Growing up Ammon and his siblings would wake up at the crack of dawn to open their presents…

Even though they are all older now, Christmas morning we woke up before the sun came up so we could enjoy Christmas to it's fullest!

Before we opened presents, Ammon and I showed a slide show of Rylynn so that Ciara and Tovik knew we were thinking of Little Ryles.

After a couple tears, and some reminiscing the present opening began!

They are all little kids at heart!

I loved getting up extra early to spend Christmas morning with Ammon's family because we then got to have Christmas morning with my family too!

Talk about double the excitement.

Before we opened presents, my family always has a "Jesus Gift" to help us remember the true meaning of Christmas.

When my little brothers couldn't take it anymore, we opened our presents one by one to make it last as long as possible!

As always, my mom made us a delicious breakfast with the BEST food!

When we were all finished giving and receiving gifts,

we visited sweet Rylynn's grave which made Christmas even more special.

We then ended the night with my family and saw "Unbroken"

When the day was coming to an end I was wishing Christmas could be every day!
It was truly an amazing.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well, filled with family, love, fun, and most of all Christ!

Highlights from 2014

2014 was definitely a year to remember!

of course we had our ups and downs, but here are some of my favorite memories!

We went on our late honeymoon to Cancun!

We packed our bags & moved to Cedar City!

Our first Valentine's Day we spent apart, but Amm still managed to make me feel like a queen.

Our birthday month!

I turned 20 & Ammon turned 23!

Ammon had Spring Ball all month long & played amazing!

We took full advantage of living so close to St. George…

Lots of golfing, sleeping in the our car & way too many iceberg shakes!

05. MAY

We got to go to San Diego with the Olsen side & it was an absolute blast!

06. JUNE

I got to go to Lake Powell with my family!
Ammon had summer school & football so he couldn't be there :(

07. JULY

We celebrated our FIRST anniversary

Time flew!

No offense to August but it is probably my least favorite..
Its the month of fall camp…
which means I rarely get to see ammon!

He is gone all day long & has to sleep in the dorms..
so yeah, august is pretty much the worst.

I got to see my little brother play in his first game of the year!

and my older brother married this cute girl!

+ we squeezed in a couple days at the lake while I was visiting!

Ammon played his first game of the season & his parents and I got to tag along to watch him play!

So much fun!

we painted our faces, dressed in all black & got into full skeleton character for Halloween!

we enjoyed drives up the canyon & thanksgiving with our families.

My best friend & favorite cousin returned from her mission!

Christmas with our families was absolutely wonderful!

Here's to 2015!
