Honeymooners

Ammon and I were blessed enough to go to Cancun for our "Late Honeymoon!" It was so nice to be with just my sweetheart and not have a care in the world.
Our first day in Cancun was absolutely gorgeous! It was sunny and not a cloud in the sky. We went to the beach, explored the city, and went back to our hotel to lay by the pool. By the end of the day, both of our shoulders were so sun burned… we didn't put sunscreen on until halfway through the day.. oops!

The next couple of days were cloudy and rainy… We still explored lots, looked around the fun shops, had delicious mexican tacos (Ammon was so excited for me to have some!) He wasn't lying when we said that the tacos were the best he had ever had. They were absolutely to die for!! We had them three nights in a row. We also both LOVE spicy food so we were in heaven.

I love hearing Ammon speak spanish! It is soooo attractive! I could listen to him all day and being in Mexico I got to hear it all the time. Lucky Me :)

When we were sick of walking everywhere and spending money on taxi's we finally decided to rent a car. It was the best decision we made! We had so much fun. We went to a beautiful beach a ways a away from where we were staying which was fun to see but on our way home we found the prettiest beach I have ever seen! Gorgeous white sand and crystal clear blue water. The weather wasn't the greatest but we ran to our hotel and put our swimming suits on before the sun went down.

I love this boy!! He is always making my life a complete adventure. Never a dull moment.

The next day the sun was shining and it was such a beautiful day! We woke up at 7 in the morning and went to the beach until 4! We took advantage of the sunshine. Ammon spent, no joke, five straight hours in the water. I thought he was a child before, well seeing him on the beach took it to a whole different level!

We had so much fun and are so thankful that we got to spend quality time together before going back to school, work, and football.

San Francisco

San Francisco is the most amazing city! Ammon and I got to travel there for the BYU Bowl Game and spent our first Christmas together in the middle of the busy city.
The first day we got there we went and explored the mall that was right down the street from our hotel and WOW… It was the most incredible mall I have ever seen! The Nordstrom itself was 7 floors. I could have spent all day in there but of course, there was so much more to see. That night we had a delicious dinner provided for the coaches, players and their wives.

The next morning, while Ammon was at practice, a couple of the wives and I went on a run! It was so much fun. I was so surprised how far I ran.. normally I get bored and start doing something else but the elevation and the scenery made it so much easier and so much more enjoyable!
When Ammon was done with practice we had lunch and Chipotle (we had Chipotle for almost every meal we had to buy… We are obsessed!)

Afterwards, we went to Pier 39 with some of our good friends on the team. We saw Alcatraz from a distance, a whole bunch of seals, Ammon entertained us all by feeding the seagulls, watched street performers, ate yummy mini donuts, and had such a blast.

*Christmas Eve*

We had such a fun Christmas Eve!! We went to the pier and rented bikes. We rode them along the boardwalk and ended up at the Golden Gate Bridge. The views were breath taking! We could see parts of the city where the houses and buildings are all stacked on top of each other, the huge hills, the beautiful ocean, and the bridge. We made it to the bridge at the perfect time.. right as the sun was setting. I loved every second of the bike ride, including the huge hill that we had to climb :) To finish our fun day we went to The Cheesecake Factory with Skyler and Jasmine Ridley! It was soooo yummy! Ammon and I had never had their cheesecake before so we decided to splurge and man oh man… Best thing ever!!

*Christmas Day*

Well our first Christmas together was unlike any other Christmas either of us had growing up and will probably be one of the most unique ones we have as a family! It didn't really feel like Christmas without the snow, the presents, and being surrounded by  our families, but we had each other and that was all we needed to be happy!

The Olsen's

Where it all began:
One of Ammon's good friends from high school asked me to make up a dance for him and his groomsmen to do at his wedding. Well, Ammon happened to be one of the guys in the dance! There was an instant attraction… but not much came from that night. A couple nights after the wedding I decided to be the brave one and send him a Facebook message.. haha… luckily he asked for my number! Yay!

Our First Date

The morning of June 9, 2012 I woke up so scared to go out with him. He was three years older than me, he was a returned missionary, and a BYU quarterback! I may have cried a little bit before he picked me up because I was so nervous! Haha but the second he picked me up I was so intrigued, and was having so much fun that I didn't even think of how scared I was! Our first date was a total adventure! We went jet skiing at Utah Lake with our good friends Brady and Sarah Davies, which turned out to be a little scary because of the huge waves and wind. Although we were only on the lake for a little, I loved holding on to his sexy body! :) We spent the rest of the day and night together and had so much fun.

Ammon was an answers to my prayers. He was exactly what I needed when we met. I knew Heavenly Father put him in my life at the perfect time. I went home after our first date with a permanent smile on my face and knew we had something so special. He completely swept me off my feet as we instantly fell in love.

He proposed on the BYU football field on July 6, 2013. It was so sweet and romantic. He had blown up pictures of us all leading to the middle of the field where he had set up a table with rose peddles, and cream soda floats. (Our favorite treat!) I was in heaven. I had been waiting for him to ask me to marry him for so long and my wish finally came true. We were both so ready to be sealed to each other FOREVER! He is my very best friend and I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband that is mine for eternity!

Families Are Forever!
